Job summary

Votaw Precision Technologies seeks an Industrial Engineer to drive efficiency in its AS9100-certified CNC machine shop. You will own the production schedule, maximize spindle utilization, and ensure aerospace quality and traceability.

This role improves throughput, validates labor standards, and supports automated job scheduling. Ideal candidates have 7+ years in aerospace manufacturing, strong ERP/MS Excel skills, and experience with lean methods and CAD tools.

Qualifications

• Proficiency with ERP software (Epicor preferred – master scheduling & planning).
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and capacity planning.
• Ability to apply factory simulation and process flow methodologies to model operations, diagnose bottlenecks, and optimize throughput, cycle time, and cost.

Responsibilities

• Analyze sequence of operations and workflows to maximize efficiency, reduce cycle times, and eliminate waste.
• Develop labor hour estimates using time studies and data for production scheduling.
• Design plant layouts, balance production lines, and optimize facility utilization.
• Manage headcount planning and evaluate personnel requirements with shifts.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve execution of production work.
