Job summary

Zenix Aerospace AMT/Damar is a leading aerospace parts manufacturer seeking an experienced accounting professional to oversee financial reporting, accounting records, and control environments. This role focuses on a comprehensive set of controls, month-end close, fixed assets, tax filings, and external audits within a manufacturing setting.

The position requires strong technical knowledge of GAAP, high attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance, with manufacturing exposure.
• Knowledge of GAAP and cost control principles.
• Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Excel and Word.
• 10+ years of progressively responsible experience in a major company or division.

Responsibilities

• Establish, maintain, and coordinate the implementation of accounting procedures and controls.
• Classify, summarize and record financial transactions per GAAP.
• Oversee Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable management.
• Prepare and review revenue, expense, payroll entries, invoices, and other documents.
• Manage the monthly close process including journal entries.
• Prepare reconciliations and research variances with detailed schedules.
• Analyze monthly results and variances.
• Record monthly and year-end accruals; assist in budgets and audit schedules.
• Assist in annual financial reports and external audits.
• Support the preparation of annual budget.
• Manage Fixed Asset reporting and property tax filings.
• Monitor production and expense transactions for accuracy.
• Assist with annual inventory processes.
