Job summary

Ultimate Staffing seeks a Manufacturing Engineering Manager in Camarillo to lead a 4-5 engineer team, drive process improvements, and support new product transfers to manufacturing.

The ideal candidate has 8+ years in aerospace manufacturing, strong leadership, and hands-on technical skills. This role offers a clear development path toward operations leadership and an excellent benefits package.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Manufacturing Engineering.
• 8+ years' experience in Aerospace manufacturing.
• 2+ years' experience managing teams.
• Must read manufacturing drawings, electrical schematics, and process procedures.
• Familiarity with FMEA, A3, Fishbone, RCCA methods.
• Strong GD&T and Solidworks skills.
• ISO, AS 9100, ITAR, DFAR preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates and prioritizes activities of manufacturing engineering group.
• Manages plant productivity projects and performance.
• Provides technical support on the manufacturing floor.
• Develops and reports KPI's (first pass yield, scrap, MTBF, productivity).
• Creates routers, work instructions, and MPS.
• Identifies and implements process improvements.
• Contributes to MRB with defect evaluation and corrective actions.
• Manages a staff of 3+ direct reports.
