Job summary

MAC Incorporated is seeking a Manufacturing Engineering Manager in Camarillo, CA for a 100% onsite role. The ideal candidate has extensive aerospace manufacturing experience and a B.S. in Mechanical or Manufacturing Engineering. Fluency a plus.

Reporting to the VP of Operations, the role leads the Manufacturing Engineering team, drives process improvements, and ensures smooth transition of new products into manufacturing. ITAR/AS9100 familiarity preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Manufacturing Engineering required.
• 8+ years aerospace manufacturing experience required.
• 2+ years engineering management/team leadership required.
• Experience managing 3+ direct reports.
• Strong manufacturing engineering and process improvement background.
• Strong knowledge of GD&T and manufacturing drawings.
• Experience with FMEA, A3, Fishbone, RCCA or similar.
• Proficiency reading manufacturing drawings and electrical schematics.
• MRP/ERP experience and proficiency with MS Office.
• Familiarity with ITAR, AS9100/ISO requirements preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead, manage, and prioritize the Manufacturing Engineering team.
• Oversee 3+ direct reports and conduct performance reviews.
• Drive productivity and process improvement projects with timelines.
• Provide hands-on technical support on the shop floor.
• Support transition of new products into manufacturing.
• Develop and report KPIs: FPY, Scrap, MTBF, Productivity.
• Identify and implement process, quality, and efficiency improvements.
• Create routers, work instructions, and manufacturing docs.
• Participate in MRB process and disposition decisions.
• Lead RCCA activities using FMEA, 8D, and related methods.
• Read/interpret drawings, schematics, and process procedures.
• Collaborate across Operations, Quality, Engineering, and others.
• Support customer and supplier activities as required.
