Job summary
Zaddy Solutions is seeking a Director of Manufacturing Engineering to lead manufacturing engineering, CNC programming, digital manufacturing, and NPI. You will drive first-article approval, production readiness, and a high-performing team for flight-critical components, translating customer drawings and models into robust production processes and standards.
The role focuses on CATIA CAM, VERICUT verification, and multi-axis machining, with a strategy to shorten NPI lead times, improve cycle
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent with strong aerospace/manufacturing background.
- At least 10 years of progressive experience in aerospace, defense, precision machining, or advanced manufacturing.
- Proven leadership in NPI, first-article readiness, and production launches.
- Strong knowledge of CATIA manufacturing and CAM workflows.
- Experience with NC verification and machine simulation tools (VERICUT or equivalent).
- Understanding of GD&T, CMM inspection, and AS9100 environments.
Responsibilities
- Lead Manufacturing Engineering, CNC programming, and engineering teams.
- Translate drawings and specifications into production-ready processes.
- Guide multi-axis machining strategies for aerospace components.
- Establish CATIA CAM standards, tooling libraries, and postprocessors.
- Improve cycle times, machine utilization, and process capability.
- Lead NPI activities from design transfer to production launch.
- Develop digital manufacturing roadmap and cost-aware initiatives.
- Collaborate with Operations, Quality, and IT to boost performance.
