Job summary

Collins Aerospace, a RTX company, is seeking a skilled Manufacturing Engineer for onsite roles in Fairfield, CA. You will troubleshoot production problems, drive process improvements, and support safety and quality plans to ensure efficient operations.

Ideal candidates have a bachelor’s degree and 2+ years’ experience, with proficiency in CAD, MS Office, data analysis, and RCA. U.S. Citizenship required to access program information; ATF access must be obtained.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and at least 2 years of relevant experience.
• U.S. Citizenship or Permanent Residence required.
• Ability to obtain and maintain ATF access.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoots and solves production problems with processes, tooling/fixtures, or equipment in operation.
• Drive activities such as Root Cause Corrective Actions, and implement process improvements to prevent safety or quality issues.
• Participates in development of manufacturing processes for new product integration.
• Determines, develops and implements measurements to monitor variables during production.
• Supports quality control plans and safety compliance actions.
