Job summary

Belcan is seeking Manufacturing Engineers to support aerospace manufacturing operations in Indianapolis. This role provides engineering support across production, process development, technical documentation, manufacturing planning, and continuous improvement to ensure safe, efficient, and compliant manufacturing operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing, Mechanical, Industrial Engineering or related technical discipline.
• Experience in supporting manufacturing operations, production engineering, manufacturing planning, or process engineering.
• Experience in aerospace/defense or other highly regulated environments is preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, specifications and manufacturing docs.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Support manufacturing operations by troubleshooting production issues and implementing process improvements.
• Develop and improve routings, work instructions, and engineering documentation.
• Support engineering changes and manufacturing workflow activities.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet production objectives.
• Conduct shop floor reviews, data collection, and manufacturing assessments.
• Assist with routing updates and process documentation maintenance.
• Solve manufacturing challenges and drive cost- and quality-related improvements.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives focused on quality, delivery and efficiency.
