Job summary

Northrop Grumman is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to join the Rocket Center, WV facility. You will design and plan layouts for processes such as hardening, washing, laminating, etching, engraving, polishing, painting, plating, and other material-processing operations.

Onsite role with no remote work. Responsibilities include developing processes, responding to design changes, and driving improvements with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Manufacturing, Industrial, Mechanical, Aerospace Engineering or equivalent STEM degree.
• Ability to interpret 2D drawings.
• Knowledge of mechanical manufacturing and production processes.

Responsibilities

• Develop manufacturing processes, work instructions and production layouts.
• Identify process improvements and capture feedback from Operations.
• Respond to design and specification changes in the manufacturing process.
• Address technical production issues and troubleshoot equipment.
• Generate specifications for new equipment procurement.
• Establish safety requirements for facilities and equipment.
• Work with Integrated Product Teams to support customers.
