Qualifications

• Basic requirement: Bachelors with 5 yrs (or Masters with 3 yrs) in Mechanical or Aerospace or related STEM.
• LEVEL 4: Bachelors with 8 yrs or Masters with 6 yrs in Mechanical or Aerospace or related STEM.
• Experience interpreting drawings and specifications.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Eligible for U.S. government security clearance (U.S. citizenship required).
• Hands-on work capability and time/resource management for schedule and cost goals.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with design engineering on manufacturability and design issues.
• Evaluate discrepant hardware and quality problems.
• Research and evaluate tools/equipment to support processes.
• Troubleshoot processes to improve safety, quality, cost and efficiency.
• Incorporate engineering changes into work in process.
