Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related field.
• 7+ years of experience in a manufacturing engineering role.
• Strong knowledge of DFM, lean manufacturing, and process optimization.
• Proficient in CAD software (SolidWorks, AutoCAD) and ERP/MRP systems.
• Professional working proficiency in English.

Responsibilities

• New Product Introduction (NPI): liaise between engineering and production to integrate new designs into manufacturing and support early-stage builds.
• Hands-On Assembly & Design Feedback: build prototypes and provide clear feedback to improve manufacturability.
• Create and maintain detailed Work Instructions using Word/PowerPoint/Excel and coordinate with technical writers for traceability.
• Process Development and Optimization: design and refine manufacturing processes, implement lean methods, determine tooling/fixtures.
• Training and Support: train assembly leads and technicians, troubleshoot production issues, provide hands-on support on the shop floor.
• Quality and Continuous Improvement: collaborate cross-functionally to resolve issues, drive Six Sigma, 5S, PFMEA, and root-cause analysis.
• Ensure Compliance and Safety: maintain safe procedures and tooling evaluations, comply with safety standards and regulations.
• Tooling and Jig design using CAD (SolidWorks) and development to support manufacturing.
