Job summary

Heven AeroTech in Washington state seeks a Senior Manufacturing Engineer to bridge design and production, focusing on manufacturability, cost efficiency, quality, and scalability. You will evaluate designs, optimize assembly processes, and produce detailed instructions while supporting production teams on the floor.

The role emphasizes hands-on problem‑solving, mentorship, and cross‑functional collaboration, with a strong emphasis on lean methods, CAD/ERP workflows, and NPI project leadership

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related field
• 7+ years in a manufacturing engineering role, preferably high-mix, low-volume or complex assembly
• Strong knowledge of DFM, lean manufacturing, and process optimization
• Excellent problem-solving and cross-functional collaboration
• Proficient in CAD software (SolidWorks, AutoCAD) and ERP/MRP systems
• Professional working proficiency in English (spoken and written)
• Not eligible for visa sponsorship; must be US-eligible to work without sponsorship

Responsibilities

• Bridge design engineering and production operations to ensure manufacturability and scalability
• Evaluate product designs and optimize assembly processes
• Develop detailed work instructions using Word, PowerPoint, and Excel; coordinate with technical writers
• Lead NPI projects and ensure subsystem readiness across product lifecycle
• Provide hands-on shop floor support and mentoring to technicians and junior engineers
• Drive continuous improvement using Six Sigma, 5S, PFMEA, and root-cause analysis
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and company policies
