Job summary

Ensign-Bickford Aerospace & Defense Company is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to lead technical and schedule aspects of production life cycles, supporting multi-part mechanisms and assemblies. You will develop manufacturing docs, test requirements, and interface with production teams.

You will apply Lean methods, design tooling and fixtures, perform PFMEA, and coordinate with customers and internal groups to ensure new designs are producible and compliant.

Qualifications

• BS/MS in mechanical or manufacturing engineering required.
• Experience with multi-part mechanisms and mechanical assemblies.
• Knowledge of space vehicle mechanisms and systems preferred.
• Lean manufacturing, DFx, and problem analysis experience desirable.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical and schedule aspects of projects throughout production life cycle.
• Develop and maintain manufacturing documentation and testing requirements.
• Act as technical liaison between customer and EBAD during transitions.
• Solve manufacturing problems and implement corrective actions.
• Interface with production personnel and other departments for producibility.
• Implement Lean methods and develop automated test fixtures and layouts.
• Create PFMEA and perform risk assessments; ensure documentation compliance.
