Ensign-Bickford Aerospace & Defense Company is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to lead technical and scheduling aspects of production programs in Simsbury, CT. You will develop manufacturing docs, test methods, and fixtures while coordinating with design, quality, and shop floor teams.

The role requires a BS/MS in engineering with experience in multi-part mechanisms, CAD/GD&T, and Lean manufacturing practices. Competitive salary and comprehensive benefits are provided.

Qualifikationen

• BS/MS in engineering, preferably mechanical or manufacturing.
• Experience with multi-part mechanisms and mechanical assemblies.
• Knowledge of space vehicle mechanisms and systems.
• CAD, 3-D modeling, assembly drawings and GD&T.

Aufgaben

• Lead manufacturing projects and ensure technical and schedule success across the production life cycle.
• Develop and maintain manufacturing documentation and testing requirements.
• Solve manufacturing problems and implement corrective actions.
• Coordinate with departments to validate production viability of new designs.
• Lead Lean initiatives and continuous improvement efforts.
