Job summary

Everforth Apex Systems is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer 3 in North Charleston, SC, on-site. The role supports aerospace manufacturing operations, leading manufacturing plans, IPT participation, and problem-solving in a hands-on engineering capacity within a production environment.

The ideal candidate has ABET-accredited degree and at least 5 years of aerospace experience, with expertise in producibility, lean manufacturing, and integration of electrical subsystems and aircraft interiors.

Qualifications

• ABET-accredited engineering degree or related field.
• Five+ years of aerospace value stream engineering experience.
• Experience developing and implementing manufacturing or build plans.
• Strong knowledge of producibility and lean manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Lead and implement manufacturing plans to support production goals.
• Participate in IPTs to integrate technical solutions across disciplines.
• Develop and document build configurations and as-built drawings.
• Identify and implement conceptual designs while maintaining program architecture.
• Perform producibility analyses to ensure process capability.
• Resolve technical problems impacting performance, cost, or schedule.
• Validate production readiness of solutions for complex manufacturing challenges.
• Support production testing and aircraft subsystems.
• Apply lean principles to improve efficiency.
• Ensure alignment with electrical subsystems and aircraft interiors.
