Job summary

Everest Consultants, Inc. is seeking an experienced Manufacturing Engineer IV with a strong aerospace focus.

You will drive machining and assembly improvements for large metallic components, fixtures, and tooling, while coordinating with production and engineering teams to reduce cost and cycle time. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering is required.
• 7-8+ years of Manufacturing Engineering experience.
• Ability to read and decipher drawings and GD&T.
• Knowledge of manufacturing techniques and NC machine programming.
• Experience with MIL-STD documents and ASME Y14.5.
• Experience with heat treat and coatings for aerospace.
• Ability to write engineering reports with analysis.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop manufacturing processes for enhancements and new products.
• Provide technical support to improve processes and meet quality standards.
• Optimize manufacturing efficiency and quality through improved processes.
• Review design and contracting production for new product launches.
• Provide input for process definition and equipment layout for feasibility.
• Perform root cause analysis and corrective action on issues.
• Coordinate with suppliers for new processes and tooling improvements.
• Interface with assemblers and management on a routine basis.
• Apply Lean Manufacturing principles to production flow.
