Blue Origin is seeking world class manufacturing engineers to design, develop, and implement new manufacturing and production processes for aerospace products. You will impact the way rockets are made and operated while collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications include a BS in engineering and 3–5+ years of experience in aerospace or related manufacturing, with hands-on machining and post-processing knowledge. U.S. citizenship and security requirements apply.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Industrial, or Aerospace Engineering.
• 3+ years (Level II), 5+ years (Level III) in aircraft/spacecraft/launch vehicle structures or similar.
• Strong understanding of GD&T and mechanical design fundamentals.

Responsibilities

• Translating engineering intent and drawings into fully functional hardware with BOMs and work instructions.
• Identifying tools and equipment required for manufacturing flight hardware.
• Providing shipside/lineside manufacturing floor support.
• Non-conformance report (NCR) generation, management, & closure.
• Crafting manufacturing plan artifacts for new products including build plans and tool lists.
