Job summary

RTX is seeking a qualified candidate to join our aerospace and defense team at Point Mugu. The role focuses on reviewing product designs, developing automated test software, and integrating test solutions with end products in collaboration with hardware, software, and systems teams.

The candidate will present technical information to peers and management, and document test solutions through formal drawings and procedures.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM).
Knowledge or experience writing software and debugging code.
Must have or be capable of obtaining a US DoD security clearance.

Responsibilities

Review product designs and create test solutions that maximize test coverage in manufacturing and engineering environments.
Develop automated test software, and integrate the overall test solution with the end product.
Interface with internal systems, hardware, and software product design teams.
Prepare and present project / technical information to peers, and internal management.
Document test solutions through drawings, procedures, and other formal documentation.
