Job summary

ACE Thermal Systems designs, engineers, manufactures, and supports high‑performance ECS and components for extreme temperature and operating conditions in aerospace applications. The Manufacturing Engineer will test components, refine designs on the production floor, troubleshoot problems, and work with design engineers to implement changes that improve producibility and reduce costs.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or related field.
  • 0–2 years of hands-on mechanical engineering experience.
  • Experience in aerospace, automotive, HVAC, or similar manufacturing environment is a plus.
  • Able to work on-site in Thornton, CO.
  • Proficient in SolidWorks and Lean Six Sigma methodologies.

Responsibilities

  • Develop Manufacturing Processes and work instructions.
  • Resolve production issues to build evaluations and production line improvements.
  • Measure parts to ensure proper fits.
  • Resolve issues with assemblies or testing processes.
  • Identify non-conforming products from suppliers and implement corrective actions.
  • Determine root cause of failures and recommend design/process changes.

Education

Bachelor’s in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering or related field
