Job summary

Boeing in Berkeley, MO is seeking an Associate Manufacturing Engineer to join BT&E, focusing on fabrication planning, build plans, and support during installation. You will collaborate with in-house shop teams to ensure successful fabrication, integration and test of flight hardware within the Structures Lab and across Boeing programs.

The role requires a BS in engineering, manufacturing planning experience, and CAD tools proficiency, with 100% onsite work in Berkeley, MO.

Qualifications

U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain a U.S. security clearance.
Bachelor of Science in Engineering or related field.
Experience in engineering design or manufacturing engineering.
Experience with manufacturing planning tools and CAD packages (CATIA, NX).

Responsibilities

Synthesis of test hardware and instrumentation requirements in support of machine shop fabrication, laboratory and flight test.
Review of design models and drawings.
Authorship of manufacturing plans to facilitate build.
Sourcing of fabrication and assembly including work statement creation as needed.
Fabrication coordination and liaison.
Part sourcing from production.
Procurement of parts/material to support test.
Shipside support of test hardware installation.
Coordinate with test engineers and technicians, instrumentation engineers and program engineers.
