Job summary

The Boeing Company in Berkeley, MO is seeking a Senior Manufacturing Engineer to join the Metals Fabrication Production Engineering team. You will support multiple program customers with build of small parts to large assemblies, developing integrated build plans, work instructions, tooling, inspection requirements, and more to ensure fabrication meets design and program needs.

The role emphasizes cross-functional collaboration, lean manufacturing, and process improvements to increase throughput,

Qualifications

Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering or related field.
5+ years of work-related experience.

Responsibilities

Review engineering requirements and drawings and provide manufacturability and producibility feedback
Investigate technical problems and collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement manufacturing process improvements
Participate in the implementation of Lean principles and technologies
Interface with IPTs and internal customers to develop products, skills, knowledge and experience
Ensure production readiness by identifying and mitigating risks, optimizing workflows, and enhancing operational efficiency
Support operations by streamlining processes, improving quality, and ensuring timely delivery of products to our customers
Participate in design reviews and provide input on manufacturability and assembly consideration
