Job summary

Ace Precision Machining Llc is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to join our team in Wisconsin. You will improve processes, quality, and production performance across our precision manufacturing operations in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires hands-on problem solving, cross-department collaboration, and a track record of delivering measurable improvements on the shop floor within aerospace/defense contexts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Engineering with 3+ years manufacturing experience.
• 3D modeling experience (SolidWorks or similar).
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
• Understanding of Lean and/or Six Sigma with ability to apply statistical techniques in manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Drive continuous improvement by analyzing manufacturing processes and implementing solutions to improve efficiency, quality, cost, and delivery.
• Partner with production, quality, sales, and engineering to support aerospace/defense programs.
• Develop, improve, and validate manufacturing processes using engineering principles and Lean/Six Sigma.
• Lead and support improvement projects with timelines, priorities, and deliverables.
• Evaluate process performance using data to identify variation, risk, and opportunities for optimization.
• Create and maintain manufacturing documentation: routings, work instructions, sketches, and process changes.
• Design complex routings and manufacturing sketches meeting customer specs and internal standards.
• Dispositon nonconforming product and determine rework or corrective actions.
• Communicate project status and recommendations to leadership and cross-functional stakeholders.
• Document technical decisions and process changes clearly.
