Job summary

Xanfab Space, an aerospace electronics manufacturer in SeaTac, WA, is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to own AS9100 quality processes and help bring rigorous quality to production. You will work with senior engineers on process documentation, CAPA activities, and shop-floor support to ensure compliance and continuous improvement.

The role emphasizes documentation, process ownership, and cross-functional collaboration within PCB assembly and related operations.

Qualifications

• BS in Manufacturing, Mechanical, Industrial Engineering, or related technical field.
• Minimum 1 year in manufacturing, quality control, or related technical role with aerospace/defense electronics experience.
• AS9100 quality systems experience including nonconformance handling or document control.

Responsibilities

• Own day-to-day AS9100 quality processes, NCRs, CAPA tracking, and internal audits.
• Develop, document, and maintain manufacturing work instructions and process documentation for PCB assembly and related ops.
• Assist with root cause investigations and corrective actions for customer issues under senior engineers.
• Support tooling and fixture needs for production requirements.
• Provide shop floor support and train associates on updated documentation and quality standards.
