Job summary

Lockheed Martin Corporation in Alabama is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer for missile-related assembly lines. You will lead shop-floor activities, develop work instructions, and support AI&T operations with a focus on safety, quality, and efficiency.

The role requires a 2nd shift (4:00 PM–2:30 AM) CST Monday–Thursday and US citizenship with the ability to obtain a secret clearance. Some travel to other sites is possible.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or closely related field.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment or coursework.
• Ability to work 2nd shift 4:00 PM–2:30 AM CST Mon–Thu.
• US citizen capable of obtaining a government secret clearance.
• Experience documenting manufacturing instructions or SOPs preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support shop-floor activities to meet safety, quality, schedule, and cost targets.
• Maintain manufacturing plans, tooling requirements, and implement engineering changes.
• Oversee Missile Assembly Integration and Test areas of Manufacturing.
• Create procedures and work instructions for fabrication and tooling.
• Collaborate with engineering to optimize equipment usage and process flows.
• Travel to other sites as needed for manufacturing support.
