Job summary

Airbus Aerosystems Kinston, Inc. is seeking a Manufacturing Engineering Summer Intern to support the launch and industrialization of a new production line in Kinston, NC.

You will work with experienced engineers to implement best practices and troubleshoot issues on the shop floor. The role requires a foundational understanding of engineering principles, manufacturing processes, and quality control, plus ability to read drawings and design dossiers.

Qualifications

• Basic understanding of engineering principles, manufacturing processes, and quality control.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings, technical documents, and design dossiers.
• Analytical and problem‑solving skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Develop rework instructions to address non-conformities and coordinate with MAP/Design Office engineers.
• Lead and support projects to enhance production productivity and process improvements.
• Maintain and update processes from a technical standpoint to ensure operational efficiency.
