Job summary

RTX is seeking a student to develop manufacturing plans for cargo system components and assist manufacturing engineers on process improvements. You will gain hands-on experience in machining, sheet metal fabrication, painting, and electro‑mechanical assembly while supporting internal/external customers.

A focus on CAD/CAM tooling and quality documentation is essential. You will learn to interpret engineering specs, apply them to hardware production, and understand how design affects

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor’s or advanced degree in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering through internship/co-op.
• Minimum of 60 credit hours prior to start.
• Basic experience with MS Office and CAD software.

Responsibilities

• Develop manufacturing plans for cargo system details and assemblies across machining, sheet metal, processing, painting, and assembly.
• Provide technical support to internal and external customers; troubleshoot production issues.
