Job summary

Goodwin Recruiting is seeking a Maintenance Technician for an aerospace manufacturer on the 1st shift in the Springfield, OH area. The role focuses on installing, troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining production machinery and facility equipment to support safe, efficient manufacturing operations.

Ideal candidates will have 4+ years of industrial maintenance experience, strong mechanical/electrical skills, PLC familiarity, and the ability to work independently.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of industrial or manufacturing maintenance experience.
• Strong troubleshooting in mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
• Experience with industrial electrical systems.
• Basic PLC troubleshooting experience preferred.
• HVAC experience preferred.
• Vacuum furnace experience is a plus.
• Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain industrial production equipment.
• Perform preventive and predictive maintenance activities.
• Respond to equipment breakdowns and emergency repair situations.
• Diagnose mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical issues.
• Read and interpret equipment manuals, schematics, and work orders.
• Replace defective components and perform equipment adjustments.
• Perform basic machining and fabrication tasks as needed.
• Maintain facility systems and equipment.
• Utilize hand tools, power tools, testing equipment, and material handling equipment.
• Identify and report unsafe conditions or equipment concerns.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and documentation.
• Follow all safety policies and procedures.
