Job summary

Chromalloy is seeking a Maintenance Specialist to join our manufacturing team. You will maintain, troubleshoot, repair, and improve production equipment and facility systems to keep operations safe, efficient, and reliable. This hands-on role directly supports aviation safety and reliability across aerospace components.

Shift: 3rd shift, Monday-Friday 11:00p-7:00a with a 15% shift differential. Training on first shift is required for 90 days before transitioning.

Qualifications

• Experience performing industrial maintenance in a manufacturing environment.
• Fluent in English (reading, writing, speaking).
• Ability to read and interpret schematics, sketches, and technical drawings.
• Working knowledge of plumbing, HVAC, electrical power and controls, gas furnaces and heat-treat equipment, vacuum systems, dust collection systems, carpentry and painting.
• Welding and brazing experience.
• Understanding of industrial equipment maintenance and repair principles.
• Forklift experience preferred.
• Comfortable operating a scissor lift.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Reliable attendance and punctuality.
• High School diploma or GED.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain production equipment and facility systems.
• Perform preventative maintenance on machinery, pumps, furnaces, vacuum systems, and related equipment.
• Complete equipment overhauls, repairs, inspections, and daily maintenance checks.
• Diagnose mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and HVAC system issues.
• Maintain and repair plumbing, dust collection, and building systems.
• Support heat treat equipment operation, maintenance, and repairs.
• Perform welding and brazing repairs as needed.
• Read and work from sketches, schematics, and equipment prints.
• Operate forklifts, scissor lifts, and other maintenance equipment as required.
• Support Lean and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
• Follow all quality, safety, environmental, and company standards.
