Job summary

Pratt & Whitney’s Asheville team seeks an MTS Technician to keep advanced manufacturing equipment operating at peak performance. You will support preventive and corrective maintenance, maintain fluid systems, and help ensure a safe, efficient production environment while gaining hands-on experience with industry-leading manufacturing technologies.

This is a 2nd shift position: Monday - Thursday, 3:30 pm - 2:00 am.

Qualifications

• Must have a High School Diploma or GED.
• At least 1+ years of relevant maintenance experience.
• Preferred: 2+ years of maintenance experience or related education.
• Familiarity with OSHA and general safety practices.
• Technical aptitude in mechanics, hydraulics, pneumatics, vacuum systems, electrical, automation, and PLC/CNC systems.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on production machinery and equipment to maximize uptime and reliability.
• Assist maintenance technicians with mechanical and electrical troubleshooting and repairs.
• Monitor and maintain machine fluid systems and document fluid usage.
• Perform routine servicing: cleanouts, swarf removal, oil skimmer maintenance, and water bottle replacement.
• Document maintenance activities in SAP CMMS and report issues via the Andon system.
