Job summary

Insight Global is seeking a skilled individual to work in aerospace coating operations, handling pre- and post-coating tasks on engine components. You will perform surface preparation, masking, and measure parts to ensure quality using micrometers, verniers, and calipers.

The role requires strong reading and communication skills, basic computer literacy, and the ability to manage multiple priorities with attention to detail.

Qualifications

• Experience with aerospace coating processes and post coating inspection.
• Ability to read and follow blueprints, drawings or written instructions.
• Proficient with precision measurement tools (micrometers, verniers, calipers).
• Familiarity with basic shop math including decimals and fractions.

Responsibilities

• Perform pre-coating operations from verbal, written or computer-generated instructions.
• Conduct surface preparation and masking before coating aerospace engine components.
• Carry out post-coating tasks such as removing parts from fixtures and masking, troubleshooting equipment, and diagnosing malfunctions.
• Perform deburring, grinding, drilling or grit blast operations with hand and power tools on engine components.
• Perform Total Preventive Maintenance on applicable machines/equipment as required.
• Inspect parts to meet visual and dimensional requirements using measuring equipment and ensure quality.
