Job summary

Moog Military Aircraft Group in Buffalo, NY is seeking a Machinist V – 3rd Shift to fabricate and inspect high‑precision components for flight‑critical systems on programs like F‑35, MQ‑25, and FLRAA. You will create tooling, run CNC programs, and maintain extreme tolerances in a production environment.

This role requires at least 7 years of precision machining experience, a high school diploma or GED, and compliance with the FAA Drug & Alcohol Program.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED preferred.
• Ability to understand and apply verbal, written and computer work instructions in English and perform basic math.
• At least 7 years of experience in precision machining.
• FAA Drug & Alcohol Program enrollment is required.

Responsibilities

• Create, build, produce, rework, and repair tooling and fixturing; develop prototype, R&D and production hardware as parts or assemblies.
• Plan, fixturing and layout of the job; edit CNC programs, maintain tight tolerances and finishes.
• Ensure inspection and quality of all work and accuracy of programming efforts.
• Assist in transitioning development hardware to production within internal ops.
