Job summary

Davis Machine, a precision aerospace manufacturer in Euless, TX, seeks a Machining Supervisor for the 2nd shift (5pm-5am). The role leads daily machining operations, coaches machinists, and ensures safety, quality, and on-time delivery while coordinating with Engineering, Quality, and Planning.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in machining, 2+ years in CNC programming, and strong shop-floor leadership in a regulated environment. Competitive pay and benefits offered.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of machining experience, preferably in aerospace/defense or other highly regulated manufacturing.
• 2+ years of CNC programming experience.
• 3+ years of direct supervisory experience on aerospace operations.
• 5+ years' experience with complex CNC multi-axis machining.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise daily 2nd shift machining operations with clear priorities.
• Ensure production schedules and delivery commitments are understood and met.
• Monitor workflow, address bottlenecks, downtime and staffing issues.
• Maintain strong shop-floor presence and provide hands-on leadership.
• Monitor performance, attendance, quality, and policy adherence.
• Coach and develop employees and enforce accountability.
• Partner with HR and Operations on performance and attendance matters.
• Support training and development of machinists and ensure proper training.
