Job summary

Pratt & Whitney, part of RTX, is seeking qualified applicants for a 3rd shift production role in Asheville, NC. Onsite work with blades/vanes manufacturing, routine machine operations, and strict quality checks are required. Candidates should be capable of overtime and detailed documentation in Solumina and TPM tasks.

The role emphasizes shift work, adherence to standard work, and a strong focus on 5S in a static production environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• U.S. citizenship is required to access information under this program/contract.
• Associate degree and/or Advanced Manufacturing Certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate production machines on the assembly line to produce blades/vanes and perform quality checks.
• Read process sheets, interpret gauges, document information, and maintain run charts.
• Clock labor in Solumina and perform daily TPM, keeping the work area clean (5S).
• Move around the machine line to operate equipment and assist with overtime as needed.
