Job summary

Hadrian, a US-based innovator in autonomous manufacturing, seeks an Applications Engineer to scale machining capabilities across multiple US factories. You will develop processes, tooling, fixturing, and inspection for aerospace and defense components, taking 0-1 parts from print to production.

Work with CAM, CNC Controls, Robotics, Software, Quality, and Operations to integrate systems, support factory launches, and drive automation that reduces manual engineering effort.

Qualifications

• Proven track record solving manufacturing problems and delivering repeatable production systems.
• Depth in machining, automation, metrology, or software for manufacturing.
• Strong communication with machinists, engineers, and factory leadership.

Responsibilities

• Develop machining strategies, tooling, workholding, probing, and inspection for aerospace/defense parts.
• Take 0-1 NPI parts from print to production for new customers, materials, and part families.
• Build automation and software workflows to run production with minimal engineering attention.
• Set standards adopted across Hadrian factories and diagnose production issues.
