Job summary

Hadrian in Mesa, AZ is seeking an Applications Engineer to advance machinings at scale, taking parts from print to production and collaborating with CAM, software, and robotics teams.

You will develop machining processes for aerospace/defense components, set standards across Hadrian factories, and diagnose production issues to improve throughput, quality, and reliability. Relocation support may be provided.

Qualifications

Track record of solving difficult manufacturing problems.
Depth in machining, automation, robotics, metrology, tooling, or software for manufacturing.
Clear written and verbal communication with machinists, engineers, and factory leadership.

Responsibilities

Develop manufacturing processes for complex aerospace and defense components, including machining strategy, tooling, workholding, probing, and inspection.
Take 0-1 New Product Introduction parts from print to production for new customers, new materials, and new part families.
Build automation, process control, and software workflows that let production run without constant engineering attention.
Set machine, tooling, and process standards adopted across Hadrian factories.
Diagnose production failures across process, equipment, software, and operations, then standardize fixes.
