Job summary

RTX, Pratt & Whitney division, is seeking a production operator for the Asheville, NC site. This on-site role runs the 10:00 p.m. – 7:30 a.m.

shift on weekdays, with overtime as needed. You will operate a range of production machines to build blades and vanes and perform quality checks throughout the process. The ideal candidate has a High School Diploma or GED, manufacturing experience, and may hold an Associate degree or Advanced Manufacturing Certification.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• U.S. citizenship required for access to this program/contract.
• Experience in manufacturing; related certificates beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Operate a variety of production machines on the line producing blades and/or vanes.
• Read process sheets, interpret gauges, perform quality checks.
• Maintain 5S and clean work area; document TPM results.
• Clock labor in Solumina and perform Daily TPM.
• Work 90% on the line; be able to OT when needed.
