Job summary

Fiber Materials Inc. in Biddeford, ME, is seeking a Logistics and Inventory Coordinator to manage inventories, perform cycle counts, and coordinate replenishments. You will work with Production Planning, Finance, and Quality to maintain accurate records and optimize material flow.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of inventory control or logistics experience.
• Lean manufacturing knowledge.
• Proficiency with ERP/Production Planning tools.
• Certified in Production and Inventory Management.
• Strong interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage inventory and filing systems, including inventory cycle counts
• Assess and improve flows of supplies through the organization
• Work with Production Planning to identify inventory levels and place orders as necessary
• Ensure all documentation related to inventory flow is complete, accurate, and filed
• Validate and process work order scans, labor tracking, and material tracking through ERP systems
• Work with Finance/Supply Chain supervisor to identify excess and obsolescence material, scrap disposition, and material transfer availability
• Work with Quality to provide necessary inventory levels and scrap values while maintaining proper disposition procedures
• Coordinate and expedite the delivery of material and movement of critical material
• Define and utilize metrics that facilitate continuous improvements to planning processes and business results
