Job summary

Greenpoint Technologies is seeking a Logistics Specialist to ensure timely receipt, shipping, and issuance of materials for aerospace manufacturing. You will troubleshoot discrepancies and support cycle counting, while coordinating with Planning, Warehouse, and Modification teams.

The role requires experience with hazardous materials handling, IATA shipping, and ERP systems. You will participate in continuous improvement and mentor junior staff in a fast-paced hangar environment.

Qualifications

Ability to effectively communicate in English (read, write, and verbally communicate).
IATA, DOT, and Hazardous Materials shipping experience.
Hazardous Materials handling.
Direct participation and/or facilitation of continuous improvement projects in a Lean manufacturing environment.
Ability to train, coach, and/or mentor staff.
Experience with ERP systems (Oracle, Dynamics, SAP).
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.

Responsibilities

Receives material requests and coordinates delivery with appropriate personnel.
Troubleshoots and dispositions receiving/grief issues.
Maintains inventory accuracy through regular cycle counting.
Assists Warehouse Lead/Supervisor in prioritization and delivery of parts kits to hangar/shop floor.
Organizes kits/materials on hangar/shop floor based on use and schedule.
Maintains kit cleanliness to eliminate FOD.
