Job summary

Blue Origin is seeking an experienced Electrical Controls Engineer to support development and operations of New Glenn facilities and ground support equipment. You will apply standard engineering methods to design, develop, and verify data collection and control systems used in flight component testing or ground launch support facilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or equivalent experience.
• Experience with AutoCad Electrical.
• 1–5 years in one or more areas: ground-up design & operations of launch vehicle power & control systems; data recording systems; industrial control systems; etc.

Responsibilities

• Project leadership in industrial control system and PLC hardware applications.
• Create electrical power and controls schematics and diagrams.
• Design of electrical ground support equipment and launch vehicle systems.
• Collaborate with technicians on fabrication, installation and commissioning of systems.
• Assist in peer review of supplier design documentation.
