Job summary

RTX is seeking a Landing Gear Design Engineer to join our Military Value Stream. You will support the development of landing gear designs for military programs, including F-35, T7-A, F-16, and Apache platforms, working with a global engineering and customer network.

You will translate requirements into design data, manage tolerance analysis, and contribute to in-service support while ensuring compliance with EH&S, ITAR, and aerospace standards. This is an onsite opportunity based in the US.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related STEM.
• Experience with 3D modeling software and GD&T (ASME Y14.5).
• Proficient with MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

Responsibilities

• Participate in design of Landing Gear and Systems components within an integrated team.
• Support design leads in liaising with customers/suppliers for design issues.
• Generate design documentation, tolerances, and assembly definitions.
