Job summary

Automation Personnel Services is seeking a Chemist Lab Technician for a company based in Clearwater, FL. This role advances your career as part of a dynamic team in a fast-growing aerospace coating and metal finishing manufacturer.

The position offers hourly pay of $20.00 – $23.00, and a Monday–Friday schedule from 6:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., with weekend availability as needed. Applicants should be comfortable handling chemicals and following safety procedures.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Previous experience working in a laboratory environment preferred.
• Experience titrating solutions is highly desirable.
• Basic understanding of chemistry principles.
• Ability to safely handle chemicals while following established safety procedures.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in documentation.
• Ability to follow written procedures and work independently.

Responsibilities

• Analyze processing solutions following established written procedures.
• Document laboratory analysis results using company software.
• Make chemical additions based on analysis findings.
• Assist with processing solution disposal and preparation of new solutions.
• Calibrate laboratory instrumentation according to written procedures.
• Conduct periodic quality control testing as needed.
