Apex Technology, Inc. is seeking a security professional to own NIST SP 800-171 and CMMC Level 2 compliance for our aerospace program. You will coordinate with the Cybersecurity team, manage evidence, and support ATO activities and RMF processes.

This full-time role requires TS/SCI clearance, US citizenship, and hands-on experience building SSPs, POAMs, and security documentation across identity, cloud, endpoint, and network domains.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI clearance required.
• US Citizenship required.
• 3+ years of ISSO/security role experience.
• Strong knowledge of NIST SP 800-171 and CMMC Level 2.

Responsibilities

• Serve as security POC for operations and keep teams informed on cyber posture.
• Work with Cybersecurity team to assess requirements, risk findings, and due dates for contracts.
• Maintain the SSP, system inventory, policies, procedures, and evidence for our CUI environment.
• Track NIST SP 800-171 and CMMC Level 2 implementation at artifact level.
• Support ATO and RMF activities including creating/updating security documentation and POA&M with target dates.
• Validate evidence from cybersecurity tools: CrowdStrike, Palo Alto, Tenable, Jira.
• Lead vulnerability and configuration remediation with system owners.
• Lead security reviews on privileged accounts, terminated users, vulnerability results, and other security requests.
