Job summary

Blue Origin is seeking an inventory control professional to manage MRO materials across our operations. You will stock, issue, and kit parts for work orders, maintaining accurate ERP/CMMS records (Maximo).

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in inventory roles and are comfortable with lifting up to 50 lbs, forklift operations, and MS Office. This role supports maintenance teams and adheres to 5S standards in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in inventory control, warehousing, or MRO/storeroom operations.
• Associates Degree or High school diploma.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and familiar with Inventory software (Maximo preferred).
• Strong attention to detail with high accuracy in data entry and records.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks including standing and operating material handling equipment.

Responsibilities

• Receive, inspect, stock, and issue MRO materials including spare parts, consumables, tools, and safety supplies.
• Kit parts to work orders: pull, package, label, and transact parts from inventory.
• Maintain inventory records using ERP/CMMS systems (Maximo or equivalent).
• Conduct cycle counts and reconcile discrepancies in a timely manner.
• Monitor min/max levels and initiate replenishment to prevent stockouts.
• Process purchase requisitions and coordinate with procurement to source MRO items.
• Organize storeroom per 5S standards and keep area clean and labeled.
• Track shelf-life items, hazardous materials, and calibrated tools per regulations.
• Support maintenance teams by fulfilling parts requests efficiently.
• Identify and dispose of obsolete, excess, or surplus inventory.
• Assist in developing/refining inventory procedures and best practices.
• Generate inventory reports and KPI summaries for management.
