Job summary

Skydio, the leading US drone company based in Hayward, CA, seeks an Inventory Control Manager to oversee inventory in a regulated aerospace environment and ensure accurate counts and material flow to support production schedules. You will lead cycle counts, collaborate with procurement, production, quality, and engineering, and drive improvements in inventory accuracy and traceability.

The role requires 5–10+ years in inventory or supply chain, a Bachelor’s degree, and experience with ERP/MRP

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field required.
• 5–10+ years of inventory, warehouse, or supply chain experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge of inventory control practices and ERP/MRP systems (SAP/Oracle).
• Experience with aerospace quality standards (AS9100/ISO 9001) and traceability requirements.
• Proven leadership experience managing teams in production or warehouse settings.
• Familiarity with SOX, COSO, and internal control frameworks.
• Proficiency in data analysis tools (Excel, dashboards).
• APICS CPIM/CSCP certification or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and optimize inventory management in a regulated aerospace manufacturing environment.
• Lead cycle counting, physical inventories, and reconciliations.
• Collaborate with procurement, production, quality, and engineering on material availability and traceability.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements including lot traceability and serialization.
• Optimize warehouse layout and material handling for efficiency and safety.
• Manage ERP/MRP systems to maintain real-time inventory visibility.
• Mentor inventory control staff and support audits (internal, customer, regulatory).
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives across manufacturing, warehouse, and field locations.
