Job summary

CesiumAstro, a developer of satellite communication systems, seeks an Inventory Supervisor in Westminster, CO. You will oversee daily inventory activities, ensure traceability and accuracy, and collaborate across manufacturing, supply chain, quality, and engineering to sustain production flow.

Responsibilities include supervising counts, reconciling discrepancies, and enforcing AS9100 controls. Strong leadership in an aerospace setting is required, with emphasis on accuracy and process

Qualifications

• AA or certification in inventory management with 4+ years of related experience.
• Leadership or supervisory experience.
• Knowledge of inventory control, warehousing, and manufacturing material flow.
• Experience with cycle counting, physical inventory, reconciliation, and control methods.
• Familiarity with serialized, lot-controlled, shelf-life, and traceability requirements for aerospace materials.
• Understanding of receiving, stocking, and replenishment processes.
• Proficiency with AS9100 requirements and audit documentation.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily inventory activities: cycle counts, transfers, reconciliations, adjustments.
• Monitor discrepancies and coordinate corrective actions.
• Ensure materials are serialized and traceable per aerospace requirements.
• Coordinate movements between receiving, stockrooms, warehouses, and production areas.
• Track replenishment, shortages, and aging material to avoid production delays.
• Address material constraints with manufacturing and supply chain teams.
• Manage cycle count and physical inventory processes and review variances.
• Enforce inventory procedures and audit-ready records per AS9100 controls.
• Identify recurring issues and implement improvements to handling and controls.
• Supervise inventory staff, assign work, and provide training on procedures.
