Job summary

GE Aerospace in Beavercreek, OH is seeking an Aerospace Inspector for the 3rd shift to perform preliminary, in-process, and final inspections on aerospace components. You will verify dimensional accuracy using calipers and micrometers, read OEM manuals and FAA data, and ensure airworthiness and on-time delivery.

The candidate will have a high school diploma or GED and at least 6 months in a production or aerospace setting, with basic computer skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• At least 6 months of relevant experience in a production, manufacturing, quality, or aerospace environment.
• Experience using manual calipers to perform precise dimensional inspections.
• Visual acuity sufficient to read micrometers and calipers with or without accommodation.
• Basic computer skills and ability to navigate quality documentation systems.
• Must be at least 18 years old by joining.

Responsibilities

• Perform preliminary, in-process, and final inspections on engine parts.
• Inspect parts for defects and dimensional accuracy according to specs.
• Read and apply OEM manuals, blueprints, and FAA data where applicable.
• Complete inspection documentation and ensure traceability.
• Support production flow to meet on-time delivery commitments.
• Train other team members on standard work as needed.
• Lift up to 40 pounds; work may require safety compliance.
