Job summary

GE Aerospace in Cincinnati seeks an experienced Machinist to set up and operate machine tools, inspect parts, and support aerospace engine component production. You will follow blueprints, maintain quality, and work from established procedures to ensure timely delivery.

The role requires 2+ years’ machinist experience, familiarity with CNC/NC equipment, and strong shop math skills. A high school diploma or GED is required, with additional apprenticeship training preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 2 years’ minimum experience in a structured training program or 2 years as a skilled machinist.
• Role may include high-risk or hazardous operations and shifts beyond standard hours.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate standard machine tools and specialized equipment to make, modify and rework parts and assemblies.
• Interpret planning instructions, blueprints, and repair manuals; maintain paperwork.
• Mentor other machinists and train team members as required.
