Job summary

The ideal candidate brings ABET-accredited degree(s), FE or EIT, and experience with AutoCAD, ETABS, RISA 3D, SAFE, Revit or Tekla. Travel ~25%.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Structural Engineering or related field from ABET-accredited program with 3+ years of structural experience.
• Bachelor's degree in Structural Engineering Technology with FE exam and 3+ years experience.
• Master's degree in Structural Engineering with 2+ years experience.
• Strong knowledge of standard engineering techniques and procedures.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work methodically and analytically in a quantitative problem-solving environment.
• Proficient in standard engineering procedures; strong MS Office skills.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD, ETABS, SAFE, Revit and Tekla; structural analysis software awareness.
• EIT certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform structural design from conceptual phase through design completion.
• Modify and review production drawings for projects (power plants, process facilities, industrial, healthcare, airports, education, commercial, government and military).
• Design structural components to meet project needs as specified by project managers.
• Update drawings to verify corrections across CAD software.
• Compile data for client presentations, shop drawings, and contract administration.
• Conduct field inspections, measurements or calculations for clients.
• Perform other duties as assigned and comply with policies and standards.
