Qualifications

Bachelor of Science in Structural or related Engineering Technology from an ABET-accredited program.
Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) exam must be completed.
3 years of structural engineering experience.
Master's degree in Structural Engineering preferred.
Engineer-in-Training (EIT) Certification required.
Professional Engineering (PE) Certification preferred.

Responsibilities

Perform structural design of projects from the conceptual phase through design completion.
Modify and review production drawings for government and military facilities.
Design structural components per project manager requirements.
Apply engineering principles, codes, and procedures in the structural services industry.
Research and compile project-related data as required by project managers.
Update drawings using CAD-related software to verify corrections.
Compile information for client presentations, shop drawing review, and contract administration.
Perform field inspections, measurements, or calculations for clients.
Adhere to policies and standards; perform other duties as assigned.
