Job summary

Airbus Aerosystems Kinston, Inc is seeking an Industrial Manager to lead a multi-functional team in a composite manufacturing and assembly environment in Kinston, NC. You will drive continuous improvement, monitor production flow, and ensure adherence to quality standards.

The role requires a Master’s degree in a related field, 8+ years of experience, and fluency in English; SAP and Google Workplace proficiency is expected. Travel may be required, and a strong leadership presence is essential.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in aerospace engineering, mechanical engineering, industrial engineering or similar.
• 8+ years of relevant work experience in industrial engineering or similar role.
• Knowledge of production and quality rules in the aviation industry.
• Lean manufacturing methodologies.
• Fluency in written and spoken English; multilingual capability desirable.
• Technical proficiency in SAP and Google Workplace.
• Strong communication and teaching skills.
• Leadership and ability to influence.

Responsibilities

• Interact and influence the Operations & Multi Functional team in a composite manufacturing and assembly environment.
• Manage integrated Multi Functional Team to deliver priorities and provide needed support.
• Monitor and analyze the industrial flow to align with objectives and quality standards.
• Lead and improve routines in Airbus Operating System using data and Pareto analysis.
• Identify root causes of non-quality and eliminate human factors in production processes.
• Foster a culture of quality and continuous improvement.
• Serve as focal point for Widebody VSM and central Airbus entities.
