Job summary

Airbus Aerosystems Kinston, Inc. is seeking an Assembly Specialist Manufacturing Manager to lead the S15 Assembly Line in Kinston, NC.

You will oversee all manufacturing activities for the Station, manage tools and jigs, and serve as deputy for the Business Unit Leader in their absence. The role requires strong leadership, aviation manufacturing knowledge, and a track record of delivering quality results in a complex environment, with opportunities for professional development and relocation

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Aeronautical, Industrial or Manufacturing Engineering or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Provide direction and oversight to production activities within the Station.
• Lead and mentor Lead Technicians and oversee safety compliance.
• Coordinate Station activities with cross-functional teams (Quality, Procurement, etc.).
• Develop manpower forecasts based on workload and skill needs.
• Ensure on-time delivery and adherence to costs and quality specifications.
